The Raven Rocks Run is the first new race at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in nearly 20 years. The race will return for its eighth running on Sunday, November 12, 2023.We hope you can join us on the trails!

The race is run on a challenging course with great views, rocky climbs, ridgeline trails, hilly meadows, ravines, and the site of the former fire tower.

Our dream since founding the race (and before!) is to bring the Cross River Mountain Fire Tower back to Ward Pound Ridge Reservation at its former site in the park.

On that front, we have good news: The Fire Tower is coming back! It looks like a whole new generation will get to enjoy the sweeping 360 degree views of Long Island Sound, Connecticut, the Hudson Highlands, and New York City it will afford. We will keep everyone up to date on progress as we hear.
